The ADD (Add) instruction is used to add the values in two General Purpose Registers (Rd and Rr) and store the result in the destination register (Rd).
Instruction Syntax
ADD Rd, Rr
Rd: The destination register where the result of the addition will be stored.
Must be one of the 32 general-purpose registers: R0–R31.
Rr: The source register containing the value to be added to Rd.
Must be one of the 32 general-purpose registers: R0–R31.
Example
Valid Instruction:
ADD R10, R20
R10: R10 is valid since it is within the register range R0–R31.
R20: R20 is valid since it is within the register range R0–R31.
Effect: Add the values in R10 and R20, and store the result in R10.
