INC

• The INC (Increment) instruction is used to increase the value in a General Purpose Register (Rd) by one.

Instruction Syntax

INC Rd

• Rd: The register whose value will be increased by one.
  • Must be one of the 32 general-purpose registers: R0–R31.

Example

Valid Instruction:

INC R2

• R2: R2 is valid since it is within the register range R0–R31.
• Effect: Increment the value in R2 by one and store the result in R2.
